Description

Common Broom, Scotch Broom. Its buds are scarlet & when these open the flowers are lemony-yellow to orange in the middle with large brilliantly crimson ruby wings. It is in full maroon bud by the end of the first week in May. Max Height 1.2m. Max Spread 1.2m. Flowers May to June. Fruits September to November. Full sun/partial shade. Not hardy. Water thoroughly before planting.
