Black Gum, Sour Gum, Tupelo. A broadly conical to columnar tree with glossy, dark green leaves, turning vivid shades of orange, red and yellow in autumn. Max Height 20m. Max Spread 10m. Flowers June to July. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
