Italian Buckthorn. An evergreen shrub with grey-green leaves with conspicuous white margins. Clusters of yellow-green flowers followed by red fruit ripening to black. Max Height 5m. Max Spread 4m. Flowers May to June. Fruits August. Full sun. Frost hardy. Harmful if eaten. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
