Coastal Redwood. An evergreen conifer with soft red-brown bark and pointed needle-like deep green leaves, silvery white beneath on horizontal or downcurved branches. Produces cones. Max Height 20m to 30m. Max Spread 6m to 9m. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
