Common Myrtle. A compact evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves margined white and pretty, fragrant, pink-tinted, cream flowers with conspicuous stamens, followed by white berries. Max Height 1.5m. Max Spread 1.5m. Flowers July to August. Fruits August. Full sun. Frost hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
